Modify radio antenna plug to fit into a headunit

In 2024, I bought a 2006 Volvo XC90. Yeah, it's a rather old car and it had 252k miles when I bought it. Now almost 257k. I decided to upgrade the audio system with a modern Android system to get Android Auto, Apple CarPlay, backup camera and dashcam. Everything went well, except one thing. 

The headunit didn't come with a radio antenna. No biggie. I just bought one from Amazon. But it didn't fit inside the headunit case and thus I had to modify it.

It looked like this when it came in.

Now pull the plug and it looks like this.

 Put a piece of big heat shrink insulator. Bend the plug and heat shrink it and it looks like this:
